Sorry I couldnt find the right section for this post. Im super worried about my financial problems right now (if you can call them that...im 17 and work at Jewel-Osco :ange: ). Im trying to minimize cost for this new computer I want. I have the money for a more expensive one, but the problem is is that im saving up for flight lessons, and this account will be opening up to me when im 18 with money in it, and I dont know what will happen with that money and ARGHGHHHHH!

Drama aside, here are the two builds.

Its especially important I have good overclocking abilities on the Intel one, because I know that their advertised clock speed is what it would be at basically the worst possible conditions. I want to eventually get it up to around 3.4 or so once I get a new cooler.

Thanks I appreciate the help.

Do you happen to have a microcenter nearby? They have had some awesome deals lately on both AMD and Intel CPUs. Even had some motherboard bundle discounts as well. Either CPU you chose will do 3.4 easily. Had I bought the ddr3 2000 or got lucky with my 1600 ripjaws, I would be doing 4.0ghz on my i5 750 now. I ran 3.5 with my Ph II 940 with a cheap Biostar 790gx and from what I understand the newer stepping 955/965's clock even better.
