Windows 7 headphone settings

Hi,

Have been using Skype with headphones and mike for 6 ---12 mths. Now this week the receiver can't hear my voice. Any ideas for me

Who is Mike?

Make sure the microphone is not muted. If there is a physical switch on the microphone, check that it is not muted.

check in control panel - sound - recording that the mic is still selected as the default device and ensure it is not muted either physically or in windows and restart the application that had the problem
