On condition that your motherboard can accept 2 GB size DDR2 RAM,

--the new RAM stick should preferably have the same operating voltage or the operating voltage should be in the voltage range of the first RAM stick,

--the new RAM stick may have different timings ( the whole system operates at the highest RAM timings )

Hope this helps.

If it works at all, it won't operate in dual-channel mode,
because dual-channel mode needs identical capacities
installed on each separate channel.

If your motherboard will accept 2GB DIMMs and
if your motherboard supports dual-channel mode,
you'd be better off with 2 x 2GB of identical sticks.

There are plenty of 2 x 2GB DDR2 matched pairs to choose from
e.g. Corsair, Kingston, Crucial etc.

Please post your motherboard make and model here,
so we can confirm its specs.

Welcome to the forums!

It is generally best advice that when adding memory, you match what you already have. It is impossible though to answer your question with 100% accuracy as you did not tell us your exact motherboard.
Now, a couple of friendly observations here:
Don't you think advertising your email address to the entire world on a public forum is not really a good thing to do?
Please, turn your caps lock off.
