This is my current PC setup:
Dell XPS 420
Intel Core 2 Q6600 Quad Core 2.4Ghz
4GB Ram DDR2 SDRam 667Mhz
GeForce 8800GT 512MB
750GB 7200RPM SATA 16mb cache
5.9 Windows Experience Index

I am a user of Photoshop CS4, Premiere Pro CS4, web development, programming. Really dont do gamming. But will have Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Visual Studio open all at one time. Would like to overclock to 3.2Ghz. Will not be doing SLI.

Budget range: $1500 - $2000

CPU: i7-920 - $290

Cooling: TBD

Motherboard: to be determined

Case: Looking at Cooler Master 932 HAF. - $160.00

Memory: Would like to have min. 8GB

Powersupply: Looking at Cooler Master Silent ProM 700W

Graphics card: ATI Radeon 5870 - $410

Monitor Resolution: Minimum resolution: 1920 by 1080, would like to support 2560-by-1440

Disk Setup: Intel SSD G2 160GB for System and Program files, then a FAST HD for just data. - $430

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: I would like to buy from newegg/frys/tiger.

I wait to hear your suggestions, if possible please include parts numbers/specifics for Memory, mother board, cpu, etc..

Thanks in advance!

If you could follow the format in How to ask for Build Advice, it would help. Specifically budget and possibly monitor resolution. But all of it is useful info.

Would you like to go with the Intel G2 160GB SSD enough to pay $500 for it?
