I have a 3 year old HP Pavillion N5470 for the first time I had to restore
the OS, WindowsME. I inserted the system restore CD and it tells me that I
have the wrong laptop model. I tried installing from a straight Win98 disk
and I cant get that to work(missing drivers) as I was affraid. Is there
anywhere I can get a copy of the correct system disk restore? HP told me my
warranty was expired and didnt offer any help. Any help appreciated.

You may be able to get a original restore cd from www.ambry.com. They
usually carry all of them. All you need is the correct part number
from hp.
