Hello, I just created this account and if I have posted this in the wrong thread I sincerely apologize

I plan on building my own personal gaming computer. my preferred price range is maximum $1000. but going a little over a little wouldn't bother me (like $1200 is my max, max)

I will list the parts I thought would be good. again I am not looking for the best "blow your mind" gaming computer, I am just going for a good decent one that can play games such as World of Warcraft and Crysis if I ever do choose to take that up.

Well, just saying that is not a very good build...

First the case, for that budget you are spending to much on the case, get something good but cheaper like the Cooler Master HAF 922

For the power supply, well it's powerful but really not very good quality, for the PSU you need to get something with quality like a Corsair, Antec, OCZ psu's, and for that build you really don't need a 1000w PSU, I think that the corsair 750w is a very good PSU, great quality.

The graphic card, if your going to be gaming you really should get a better video card, (really like the new ati video cards) ATI 5850 (very good video card, handles everything maxed out, with AA)

The motherboard, the one you chose is just wrong no one should be building something on a socket 755 anymore...what about a AMD build? For it I would suggest the ASUS M4A79XTD EVO

Well the ram you selected is wrong for the system I'm making and for the one you made, it's a triple channel memory, the only motherboard that you should be using it with is for socket 1366. For those builds you should look for dual channel memory.G.SKILL 4GB DDR3

Now days the onboard sound is pretty good, you really don't need a sound card, trust me, I have the motherboard I suggested you and it have a great onboard sound... save some money here...

For the HD get somthing cheaper, and faster... Samsung F3 500gb

And finally the processor, AMD X4 955 and if the build get over budget with it get the AMD Athlon II X4 620 instead

And for the optical drive not mentioned up there just be sure to buy a SATA drive like this one
