First i just wanted to say hello and that i have lurked and been on this site for a while and totally love it.

Thought i would post this and have some people that really knows their stuff take a look

my old pc died yesterday and i had nothing but time on my hands reading and researching..

also.. the mega comes with thermal paste right? on newegg the pic looks like it does but other places didnt show this.

Case / PSu - This combo is $50 cheaper, cases are equivalent (each with their own pluses and minuses) but the CP-850 is a superior PSU both electrically and acoustically.

Hard Drives - Check out the performance charts and pick whatever 500 GB per platter drive performs best under your usage patterns. The 2 TB WD Black and LX from Seagate are good choices but at smaller capacities, you are limited to the Seagate 7200.12 or the Spinpoint F3. Important Reminder:
Due to the unique shape and sizes of the particles in Arctic Silver 5's conductive matrix, it will take a up to 200 hours and several thermal cycles to achieve maximum particle to particle thermal conduction and for the heatsink to CPU interface to reach maximum conductivity. oh i decided to stay with the case and pcu.. do i really need a pcu at 850?
oh and also i think i dont need a sound card but if i eventually do ill just get it then. and not now

is that the best 120Hz monitor also? that thing looks really promising amazing i didnt ever hear about it in my 120Hz searches.
