Hello,

I'm having major trouble with my RAM and was hoping I could get some help.

My PC:

Mobo: Asus M2N-SLi Deluxe
CPU: AMD Phenom X4 Quad Core 9850 2.50GHz

I know my motherboard can run 1066 RAM because I have a stick of Kingston RAM and that works.

When I put the corsair RAM in, it powers on but the mouse and keyboard don't come on, incompatible RAM maybe?

Is there any way I can get this (4GB (2x2GB) Corsair Dominator DDR2 PC2-8500) to work?

I'm sure :)

I flashed the BIOS not long ago so that I could use the CPU and it brought the RAM speed up to 1066Mhz. I bought the Kingston because I wanted to test it as I was unsure whether it would work. It does. :p

It runs at 1066Mhz 5-5-5-15 2.10v and the name is Kingston HyperX DDR2 (Model: KHX8500D2/1G).

I've even tried running the Corsair RAM at the lowest clock speed (400 I believe) and tried working my way up gradually but nothing happened.

Even if the board doesn't natively support 1066Mhz, it would still run at 800 or less on the same board... right? :p
