My external hard drive wont format

my wd external hard drive stopped being recognised last night can you help

Hello.

If you can see it in the Disk Manager you can try and assign it a drive letter and there is no problem with hard drive you will be able to see your data.
I had similar problem with one of my extrernal drives and i remove it from it box install it on my pc and it worked (My external was out of warranty if yours is in warranty dont do it)
