Win 2000 wireless problem

I can sign into my router and the utility shows connected. I go to control panel/networks and check the connection and it says good. But I.E. nor FireFox will recognize the connection. The come back with no connection available.

I have made some progress in finding the problem but not the cure. It is a driver problem in W2000. If I clear ? drivers in control panel/hardware/device manager and reboot it wants a driver "netoem.inf" I point it to my driver folder and it is there but W2000 says it can't find it.
