After I purchase my gaming pc, I plan to spend $100 on a mouse and mouse pad. Currently I'm considering the Razer Imperator and the Razer Goliathus Fragged Control.
Any other suggestions, or does this sound like a good idea?

All up to you, but personally I love the Logitech G500. I've never been a fan of Razer mice due to how they feel in my hand.

I use a Razer Mamba and a Razer Megasoma mousepad, excellent combo. (although it exceeds your budget).

Is the Razer Mamba worth the extra 50$ over the imperator?

As for the mousepad, I picked up an HP widescreen mousepad a year ago and I will never go back to a regular pad ever again!!! I love this thing! Widescreen is the way to roll!

Yes it it's worth, IF you want a gaming grade wireless mouse. If you don't need it to be wireless, go with a regular Razer...
Cheers.
