Hmm.. I've been reading some stuff on the internet and saw people saying they're getting 60s with 1.35v or 1.41v on their i7 2600k and made me wonder if maybe something was wrong with mine...

I'm getting 71c at 1.295v with the i7 2600k using h100 cooler with two cougar vortex fans, as exhaust.. currently @4.5ghz

My case is the corsair 650D. 200mm intake fan, 120mm rear intake and 2 120mm top exhaust with the radiator...

I've re-seated my h100 quite about 2 or 3 times already and I've been getting the same results.. I may have been making the same mistakes but idk.. I don't think so..

Is there something wrong with the h100? or the cpu? or the way I put it? Is it really too hot?

I'm not sure.. They're connected on the h100 on the lowest speed. But It's 57F outside.. not sure about the temp inside.. lol

I'm planning to do that but I want to buy a dust filter first.. I don't want to keep removing my H100 to clean up the dust.. but do you think that the temp is normal for that voltage? or should I re-seat my H100?

Well my hottest core(2600K 4.4GHz @ ~ 1.255v) got to 67(package temp showed 69c) with 12+ hours of custom blend.

I am just fine with that as games NEVER push it that hard.

the MB temp shows 53c and I have a feeling some users may be reporting that temperature. Also every cpu runs a bit different. some are cooler then others some are even hotter.

You could always try bumping the fan speed a bit and see how much pay off you get.
