Best 775 socket mobo

Hello,my 780i mobo just died, Comp USA tech guy said to install a Gigabyte EP43-UD3L board...I did and now I am having problems with my video card, EVGA GTX 285 and my system crashes when playing games only, not when browsing..Any idea idea whats happening, pls.

Did you reinstall windows clean or just replace the mobo and load the new drivers in windows ?

I think you hit the nail right on the head, apparently no clean install whatsoever...Will try that...Tks for your prompt and courteous reply. I will be back and let you know results.
