I annot figure out how to get into the machine to remove the floppy
drive, it looks like I have to take it apart quite a bit. Anyone
have any experience with these models?

most interesting.... i have an old timer toshiba 4200 satellite, and i'm wondering about something similar.... but instead of replacing the 3.25 floppy, putting a memory card reader.. i mean really, who uses floppies, anymore? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- it also has times two, PCMCIA slots, so i'd like to find a usb 2.0 card, and a gigabit one two.

............ or maybe i'll just get a newer laptoP :0
