Does Intel DG965RY Motherboard supports Core 2 Duo E8400 processor

Hello All:

i have Intel DG965RY Motherboard. i want to know that does this motherboard supports Core 2 Duo E8400 (3.00GHz,1333FSB) processor.I visited intel site but was not very sure about the details.It would be great if any of you can confirm me.

No isn't supported. The max processor that support is the C2D E6700.

Well, the DG965RY supports Core™ 2 Duo E6000 65nm processors, not the E8400 though.
