Best solution
Antec 1200 .... best way to buy it is in this combo if ya need a PSU.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?Ite...
Save a whole lotta money by buying the P6X58D-E over the P6X58D .... and again, best way to buy it is in a combo for example w/ i7-930:
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?Item...
or with the 980
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?Item...
Consider getting the 930 and overclocking it to 980 speeds.
I would start w/ 6 GB of this CAS 6 RAM and only add the 2nd 6 if determined to be necessary.
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1682...
Don't understand the 2 BFG 285's making tri sli....I'd get the current card in dual SLI
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
If you are going to be doing serious overclocking, I'd switch to the R3E

If I had to pick one of the two cases that were mentioned, then I would choose the Antec 1200. Ventilation, airflow, and cooling are very very good. It is a classic case that you buy and then keep for a long time.
The general rule of thumb is a high quality 500 to 550 watt power supply with sufficient current (amps) on the +12 volt rail(s) can easily power a system with any single video card made. A high quality 700 to 750 watt power supply with sufficient current (amps) on the +12 volt rail(s) can power a system with two video cards operating in dual mode. There are a few exceptions like the new ATI Radeon HD 5XXX series cards which use less power due to their energy efficiency.
A high quality 500 to 550 watt psu will have a +12 volt rail rated at 40 amps. A high quality 700 to 750 watt psu will have a +12 volt rail rated at 60 amps.
In addition the power supply should be at least 80+ Bronze certified for energy efficiency. There are some models available which have achieved 80+ Silver and 80+ Gold Certifications.
Corsair and Seasonic are two brands that have a reputation for high quality power supplies that consistently earn high marks in technical reviews. They are reliable, stable, and come with a 5 year warranty. Some of the newer models come with a 7 year warranty.

Oh ok antec it is then lol also on video cards I wanted to get 2 bfg 285 gtx 2 gb cards is there better or should I be good with that? You would be much better off with a pair of ATI 5850's. The 285's are great cards but are only Direct X 10 since you are building new and you want the best tech so you dont have to upgrade for awhile go for the HD 5850's
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
The hd 5850 will perform a little better then the 285's and also brings direct x 11 into it.

ok, so as evryone has said, get the antec 1200 case. i would also suggest dual radeon hd 5850s, or if u want to splurge, get a radeon 5970 which is a dual-gpu card, so its like 2 cards in one!
i would get 6gb ram and see if that works fine for you. i run several copmuters on 1gb and less (win7 and xp). you could get the core i7-980x cpu. it has 6 cores, and ocs quite well. though amd is a better value, intels usually have better performance pe rclock speed.

about the router: toms hardware made an article stating that comcast was rated the worst company in usa award! i think u can figure it out from there.
of course, you could just get this:

definitely! which 1000w psu are you looking at?
since you probably wont be needing 1000+watts, i recommend this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
it is a very good psu, and can peak to at least 1000w if not a little more.
