What laptop should I buy?

Hey everyone.
Quite frankly, I am over-whelmed by the decision of which laptop to
buy. I currently have a Toshiba 4090XCDT which is way past its prime.
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction when
buying a new laptop. Any tips? I want a Centrino based machine, which
will allow me to play fairly new games occasional, be able to handle
video editing, and of course a comfortable keyboard to type with. I
don't want to spend a huge amount of money, AU$2500 max.
