I Just got 1 of these. Best monitor in this price range and size. No dead or stuck pixels, very bright out of the box. Turned mine down to 75% brightness with the monitor control buttons, very easy. When U do this it apparently does this across all the modes U can watch it in. U might want to remember this when watching a dark movie in movie mode.

2ms refresh is what U need for gaming. No ghosting in Ghost Recon 2 LOL or Medal of Honor This is a 16:10 aspect ratio 1920X1200 monitor lot's more real estate for gaming then 16:9 1920X1080 monitors of the same width.

Warning U will need to up-grade your graphics card if U want to run your games in native resolution (1920X1200). I got one of the of the last Hd4890s an XFX and it's running great.

Some reviewers in newegg have complained about the stand being wobbly. This is a big heavy beast, 27lbs I believe. U put this much weight up high on some of the crap people use for desks and it will wobble or rather the desk will. LOL My desk is very solid and the monitor doesn't wiggle at all.

1 con There was a small amount of back-light bleeding, 1/2 inch, on the top and bottom edges that I noticed when there was a black screen. this wasn't noticeable when there was anything open and most of it disapeared when I reduced the brightness.

Watch newegg for the sales. I got mine for $269 Canadian with free delivery. Haven't got the $30 rebate yet. LOL But Asus did notify me that it is being processed.

Not quite as fast as the Asus but should work fine. 16:9 1920x1080.Not as much area as the Asus.
