Why dual boot!?

I am in need of some reasons before I consider it. Some have mentioned XBMC, and how fun it is. I just need some more reasons.

Personally, I prefer VM's over dual booting. Developers dual/multi boot in order to test software on different platforms. Some games are tedious to get to run in Win 7 so some gamers dual boot with XP to run their older games. IT guys usually like to multi boot just to keep up with their linux skills or other OS skills. I'm sure there are more reasons too.
