I formatted my main drive and now the secondary drive has disappeared. I can't find it in bios nor in the disc management area in the ad tools. Is it possible that the reformatting the main drive "jumped"and completely erased the secondary? Thanks

Sounds like you only have one physical disk and it became one partition! If two physical disks the possibility is that you do not have the drivers installed for the controller it is on or it just decided to die. Make sure you have all the motherboard drivers installed and disk controllers are enabled in BIOS.

Thanks, the second drive did decide to die. Ran it in another computer and same thing, but was able to bring it back to life just long enough to get what I needed from it. Thanks again.
