SAS MSI 790FX-GD70

Hi All. Can you use SAS on MSI 790FX-GD70 (AMD Phenom 965 Black). I will be buying a 4x PCIe sas/sata Card (compatible with my win7 64bit) to connect to the board. I just want some kind of preconfirmation from someone far more knowledgeable that this will work. Any other heads up would also be appreciated. Thank You.

The answer is Yes and it works great! Four 15K Scsi's rocketing in raid 0, scoring 6.6 on the WEI. Remember that the slowest thing on your computer is always the HD. When SSD's come down in price and go up in stability I will turn my SAS into a lightning fast raid storage. Til then Smokin Joe is cleaning up on COD.
