May not be entirely inclusive, but Intel is a jerk about adding virtualization to its processor lines. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_VT-x#Intel_Virtualization_Technology_for_x86_.28Intel_VT-x.29 Some Pentiums and Core 2 did NOT support hardware virtualization.
