As some of you know a few weeks ago I asked the community about some monitor choices in the 26-27" range. Between those choices was the P2770HD monitor. At that time due to suggestions from the community I decided to go with an Asus VW266H.
Last week was the time for purchase, but due to some shortages in supply the Asus was unavailable, but the Samsung was. I bit the bullet and bought it.
1. Size. That thing dwarfed my old Asus 22 incher. It put its size to shame.
2. The look is very stylish and shows quality.
3. Touch sensitive buttons that light up when hovered. Classy .
4. A lot of connectivity.
With the computer running I changed the old monitor with this one and it automatically detected the correct resolution and turned on perfectly when selected the DVI source from the remote . No dead pixels, no stuck pixels .
The picture quality is very very nice compared to my old monitor, really bright and vivid colors for a TN panel.
Of course I started my favorite MMO and crossed my fingers due to the 5ms response time and the resolution. To my surprise I looks awesome. Quality in games, no ghosting, for me no difference between this and the old 2ms monitor. Fluid and very nice quality wise. I tried a shooter next - L4D - again no ghosting and perfect image.
HD playback is awesome. Me and my friends were amazed by how good the picture is even on Youtube HD content.
I don't use the tuner, but from users reviews I hear is very good.
This post doesn't ask a question, just brings some good feedback related to a product.

I also purchased the P2770HD about a month ago from COSCO ($400).
Would agree with most of his comments.
(1) have over-the-air connected - looks great
(2) have a samsung Blu-ray/DVD writer (cable input) connected Looks very good, would be better if I could have used HDMI, But had to use Component Video
(3) Here I disagree - Input connections are LIMITED, one each HDMI, DVI, Component for me anyway.
Have computer #1 (Vista and ATI 4870) connected to HDMI, looks good, NOT great
Have 2nd computer (win 7 64 and ATI 5770) connected to DVI, looks - good for video/games, BUT TERRIBLE for internet, probably a Win 7 or GPU problem at that resolution - NOT Monitor problem If I had a do over, I should have opted for the Samsung T260HD. Currently $330 @ new egg.
Better resolution - 1920 x 1200 vs 1920 x 1080
Has two HDM inputs.
16::10 vs 16::9
1.5 inch dia smaller, BUT somewhat offset by 16:10 dimensions
PS I also have the Samsung T240HD and although smaller, picture quality (with 2nd computer) was better than the P2770HD, Plus 2 HDMI inputs
