Cod 4 Issue

Hi Guys,

i am using windows 7 and everytime i go to open cod 4 it says that my computer has changed and if i want to go to default settings, and weather i click yes or no, it resets all my settings and online name.
ANyone no any fixes? i have tryed restarting computer and re-instaaling cod 4.
Any help is much apprecaited!

I don't have an answer for you, but I wanted you to know that CoD4 does work on win 7. I have it installed on my win 7 ultimate x64 computer and it runs fine with no tweaks necessary.

You may want to change the compatibility of the program to win xp and see if that makes a difference.

New Motherboard lol,
Worked before on same windows.

I wonder if it has a security feature, that can tell if your licence is used on two PC's. Give them a call : )

It sure sounds like some type of protection. Contact activision and tell them your mobo died. Maybe they can help.
