Unknown symbol on laptop keyboard

Okay its probably very obvious to most posters but i have a symbol on a a
key (activated by pressing the Fn button at the same time that looks like an
upside down triangle (apex at the bottom) with a line bisecting it
continuing to below the apex.

Something like this

Does anyone know what it is? I also have a light next to the shift lock /
caps lock light etc with the same symbol, does it indicate a wireless
network????

It's surely a symbol for a function... What brand of laptop?

Medion, unfortunatly it doesnt decribe it in the manual and the help file on
my laptop (from the manufacturer) cannot be opened

According to a manual, which I downloaded from their website
(http://www.medionusa.com/),
it "Switches the wireless LAN on and off, if an optional Mini PCI wireless LAN
card is
installed."

That is the symbol for an antenna, as used on electronics schematics. I
would bet that it activates a wireless card
