Here is my build and setup:
Antec Illusion Case
Antec Earthwatts 650w 80+ Certified
GA-MA770T-UDP3 w/f5 bios and all necessary drivers
Athlon II X4 630 @ stock
Mushkin Blackline DDR3 1333-10666 7-7-7-20 1.7v
(Had to manually set timings and voltage as the board ops for 1.5v and 9-9-9-24)
4670 ATI
Windows 7

Computer runs well until i try Prime 95-64 bit version
Locks up with 4 test running.
Memtest ran fine for 3 passes.
Cpu is cool at 31C
What's going on? I was planning on overclocking, but i can't even get stability with stock settings.

Drop your ram to 800 speed and try again.

If i have to set my speed back to 800 to make the system stable, am i not losing out on something i paid for. In other words, should i send it back and get the G-Skill on the mobo's supported list and run it @ its native speed.

Is your RAM running at 1.7v or just 1.5?

Was running it at 1.7 -1.8. I have realized the weakness of my GA-MA770t-UDP3 mobo is its limitation with ram when overclocking. I can overvlock to a stable 3.71GHz but i hvae to cut my ram back to 400 even though i should be able to overclock it.

i have the same ram and just built a new system for my mom. i too needed to back it down to 1066 just to get stable at stock speeds. i feel ripped off..

I changed to G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) which is on the memory support list and cannot get my Ram stable above 1066. I am going to try to contact G-Skill and see waht they say. Even with my memory clocked down, my 630 is blazin at the same speed as a 965 BE @stock for 70$ cheaper. Just to let you know, I have heard that you can unlock that fourth core and overclock that cpu to almost 4 GHz.
