Hi, I'm trying to hold off on upgrading my entire computer, and hoping to squeeze another year out of it (gotta pay taxes!). My system is:

Intel E6750 processor, OC'd to a stable 3.2ish.
2 GB G.skill DDR2
Giga P35-DS3L (LGA 775) mobo
Currently using ATI Radeon 2900 Pro OC'd
500 GB WD Caviar
Vista Premium
Antec 900 case
Antec Earthwatts 500 P/S

The upgrades I've made so far:
doubled ram to 4GB
upgraded HD to Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB
purchased Windows 7 Pro (uninstalled until I update graphics)

My question is, what do you recommend as a mid-priced (200 tops) GPU upgrade for my system that will not be bottlenecked by my CPU?

I've been debating the 5770, or maybe waiting for the 5830, but I'm not sure. Any suggestions? Thanks.

maybe wait for the 5830, and if you dont want to wait and dont care about dx11 then the 4890 would do fine, if you dont want to wait and care about dx11 you should look at the 5770 but it may not be powerful enough to run games on high settings on that resolution.

at that resolution i would look on a 5850, you would be more futureproof that way. but if you dont have the money.... :/
