no offense but i think amd blows i want the i7 920 so i can get full 16x 16x suport. im returuning my i5 8gb ram and p55 gd55 mobo.

Lets not start an AMD vs INTEL here.. A little info, you can get 16X + 16X with an AMD 790FX chipset based board.. Actually it does not has a significant leap in performance when compared to the 16X + 8X config.. And honestly, your current build looks good for you to decide on a change.. You can do equivalent to an i7 920 by getting an i7 860..

The i7 860 is a CPU.. The bandwidth profiles are chipset limited.. But anyway, wise of you to stick to your current build.. Believe me its very good so don't be dejected..
