Hey guys!

I seriously need to get a good heatsink now. I broke my two of my heatsink screws and its become unstable i use a Intel Core i7 2600. LGA 1155. The motherboard is an ASUS P8H61-M-LX2. The power supply is at the top, and there isn't much space for a big fan. And since the corsair vengeance RAMs are tall im not sure what fans are suitable. Something around this size perhaps?

Cooling fan right now: http://www.thermalfly.com/en/p2_products.php?prod_id=26

So does anyone have any suggestions? My budget is probably around $40. Nothing more than $45 though. Thanks guys!

Hi there, I wouldn't really worry about the vengeance and the Hyper 212 , plenty of users on this forum who have them both and most say it doesn't touch the hyper 212. Regardless of that, I...

+1^ the Hyper 212 will be more than enough for that at stock clocks. Anyways if case width is an issue try this cooler:
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103064

It's a 92mm cooler (Cooler Master TX3) whereas the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO is a 120mm cooler. The 212 EVO is 159mm in height and the TX3 is 139mm in height. So do state your case model and we can find out if its fits or not.

Hi I was having the same issue with the size of the 212 so I thought I'd ask here as well. My case is pretty small : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147060.

Currently using stock Intel fan on my i5 LGA 1155. I was currently looking at this CPU cooler: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103100 because it is not as tall, and allows space for tall the tall heatsinks on my RAM.

I was just wondering if the one I plan on using or the CM TX3 would be better/ would even fit in a small case like mine.

Thanks!

Repost case link or give me a model number, the link just gives me suggestions. If at stock clocks just grab the TX-3 no need to waste that much money.

Unless you have heatsink ram and they are like the Corsair Vengeance then don't worry about ram clearance. Now your case does look like it can support the Hyper 212 IF you don't have the side panel fan. I have been reading around and people with your case have fitted the Hyper 212.

This one for example:

Problem is I am using Corsair Vengeance :??: Also, as of right now I do not have any side panel fans but I was planning on getting a couple in the same order as my CPU Cooler.

So what do you think would be best? Would the Hyper 212 fit with my Corsair Vengeance? If so, would you suggest getting that and not installing side panel fans? Or should I just stick to the CM TX3 and get side panel fans? Or would the CM TX3 be an issue with the high heatsinks anyways?

(Btw thanks for your response on my thermal paste question on another thread) :D

This is a review on your case with a person claiming it fits with the 212 evo:

and here is a picture I found with the Hyper 212 EVO and Vengeance ram, it fits without touching it.

Thanks for your help! So you are suggesting I get the Hyper 212 EVO with no side panel case fans, correct? It should fit my case and not cause problems with my Vengeance RAM?

Your artistic skills are quite good actually! :kaola:
