Please Compare for Gaming

I have a question.

I already picked out the parts for my computer build and am going to get a Coolermaster CM590 case off of craigslist.

Notice in the cart that i have a AMD 955 CPU + a compatible motherboard.

I also have a combo that is an I5 + a MicroATX motherboard that is less that the above AMD+MOBO.

Which would be better for gaming purposes?

Can someone also check to see if the RAM that I picked is a good choice? Thanks everyone for your help.

That i5 isn't the good one. You need the i5-750 for gaming. And a P55 board.

The RAM is alright.

I would suggest dropping the CPU down to the X3 425 if you can then afford an HD 5870.

I would also look around for a better quality PSU. OCZ's lower series (Mod, Stealth, Game) are alright, but not the highest quality. Check out Corsair, Antec Earthwatts, SeaSonic or Silverstone.
