Hi and welcome

Well done for doing the bypass 1st - confirms router at fault.

Do both pcs drop connection at the same time?
are the cables over 100m long (unlikley i know)?
have you checked for the most up to date firmware for the router?
could the router be over heating from poor ventelation?
how old is the router?

Hi
yes both pcs drop connection at same time.
cable is around 10ft
firmware is up to date
router does not seem to be over heating
router is 6 months old.

only things I could think of are host name/IP clashes on the network but this is very unlikley or some kind of malware again cant see it hitting both pcs at once.

do you have access to a second router for testing, maybe a old spare or borrow from a friend?
