I would go for an 80 gig Intel SSD as a system boot drive, and a 1TB for any additional data. Western Digital Caviar Blacks are popular as well as Samsung F1's. But if that breaks the budget the Samsung F1 has been heralded as an amazing performance standard hdd.

Definitely go to Windows 7 64 bit (Home Premium is more than sufficient for gaming). Without a 64 bit OS you will not be able to utilize more than 4gb of memory.

If SLI/Crossfire is in your future, then I would do it right and buy an Intel i7 920 / X58 setup, and 6 gigs of DDR3 memory.

If not, then go with a i5 750 or i7 860 and 4gb of DDR3 memory.

Your wishlist looks pretty solid. I prefer Corsair power supplies though, and would probably go with a Corsair TX750, or HX700.

Also if you can get bing cashback in Canada, Circuitcity.com has 15% cashback, you can get an ATI 5870 made by XFX for $348 after cash back right now.

Do you plan to overclock? The i7 920 hits 4ghz on air with ease, A lot of people like the TRUE 120, or the Prolimatech Megahalem, or the Coolermaster V8.

If you plan to stay at stock voltage, the stock intel fan isn't too bad. I don't recommend it though.

The following is what I just went with. Not the fastest or the greatest but pretty happy with what I got selected. The only thing I have that is not shown is a 500GB Barracuda I ordered from Amazon.

I hope this helps some.
