Gaming and recording for $700

Im just now getting into the world of music recording but my laptop doesn't handle the basic needs. I want to build a system good for recording and gaming for around $700. I know which processor and video card i want but finding other components has been challenging. I also want a motherboard that will handle up to 16GB ram but i only need 4GB of ram to start out. I do not need a monitor, mouse, keyboard, or case. Can anyone help point me in the direction to go with this idea?
