So my 80 gig ssd is almost filled up. And with ssd prices dropping, I think I can afford an upgrade.

Currently, this is the ssd I am using as a boot drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
I also have a 2TB HDD for storage.

I'm not so concerned as to which new ssd to buy, but what should I do with my old ssd? I came up with a few possible solutions:

1) Use it as storage for games.

2) Use it as a caching drive for my hdd.

3) Install it in my laptop.

Which of these three options seems to be the best choice?

It would speed up the load times on the laptop if 80GB is enough for it!

Put it in your laptop, absolutely. It will speed it up dramatically and increase its battery life noticeably.

With the upgrade you would have space for a couple of games on the OS drive, so why not put it in the laptop!
You are defaulting user files to the storage drive http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/18629-user-folders...
