Hi I want to do an XP repair using the Windows XP cd ( which I have done in the past).If I try the repair option, I see 3 partitions listed,D and E ok but C shows as Partition1 [unknown] which should show as NTFS.
The reason I want to do a repair is because I can't do a system restore (nothing happens when I click on it)
I've already tried a restore from a RP on System Volume Information,same result.
This partition boots ok though and the patitions look ok in disk manager. Trying the Recovery Console also only shows D and E.
Has anyone seen this before, partition showing "unknown" yet boots into Windows?
I don't want to reinstall windows, too many old programs to search for original media and reinstall.
