Running two applications on HTTPS

Hi,
I have two applications installed on a server. App 1 runs on HTTP and App 2 on HTTPS. The default port for App 2 was set as 8443. But people on the network were not able to access this due to firewall restrictions. Then i changed the port of App 2 from 8443 to 443. But this opens up App 1 in HTTPS format.

I want both the applications to run parallely.

You need to disable HTTPS for app1

How? Pl. let me know, i am a newbie. The App 1 is a PHP application.
