How often should closed water coolers be replaced?

Is there a number of years that it's wise to replace an entire closed loop water cooler unit?

It will depend on the life hours of the pump to be honest, Most pumps have a working set of life hours before a fail rate, You should be able to find the specs on the running time of the pump before a failure is expected.
