Gaming build - MOBO possibilities

Ive been looking through the posts and cant find a mobo that fits what im looking for..
i want to build a gaming rig to play the new games this year.. dont want to spend more then $200 on the board, at least 2 pci-e slots.. if you could also suggest a good, powerful processor that goes with the board would be great

Intel or AMD which is your preference? You going crossfire (ATI/AMD) or SLI (nvidia)?
