Laptop Memory BSOD

Howdy ya'll

I've got a pretty old laptop (5 or 6 years) it's a Lenovo Z61t Thinkpad. It came w/ 1 gig of ram and I recently bought 3 gigs to upgrade the computer and try and extend it's life for a while. I installed it and everything seemed fine. But now maybe once or twice a day it splits into 4 mini screens and BSODs (so I can't read any of the message. It's not really that big of a deal as 99% of the time its still chugging along fine, but just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience.

Start with easy, run MSCONFIG and select Diagnostic; see if the BSOD still persists. If it still BSOD then run CPUz and post your RAM part-number(s) and/or links(s).
