As other drives (HDD or SSD), you need format the SSD before use it. You can follow the next steps. 1) Right click in my computer 2) Properties 3) Manage 4) Disk management 5) Your SSD should be there with a black color and without format, just do right click, select format and start. | Report abuse pleasenoname March 17, 2012 11:16:47 PM I formatted as MBR, However there is no drive letter. Do i pick "simple volume"? | Report abuse saint19 March 17, 2012 11:20:05 PM pleasenoname said:I formatted as MBR, However there is no drive letter. Do i pick "simple volume"? MBR is not a type of format, MBR means Master Boot Record. Just do right click and format. Write a name for the disk and be sure that File System says "NTFS", select OK and wait to finish. | Report abuse Related ressources How to install a game into SSD ? - Forum SSD for gaming only ? - Forum SSD 's - for OS or game folders only ? - Forum Setup SSD for software only and all files on 2nd hard drive - Forum WHICH SYSTEM DESERVES THE ONLY SSD I HAVE NOW? - Forum Ask the community Publish pleasenoname March 17, 2012 11:20:44 PM Was wondering if GUID is better? never used a SSD before, unsure of any differences present in it. | Report abuse saint19 March 17, 2012 11:23:10 PM pleasenoname said:Was wondering if GUID is better? never used a SSD before, unsure of any differences present in it.
