Just finished this on expert and have a few minor questions.
I knocked off enough rust mites to get allied with the
hammerites. Is there any extra benefit to killing all the
rust mites?
Is there any benefit to eliminating all the zombies in the
hammerite graveyard?

In the museum, there's a note about a lost hat (if I remember
correctly), was this something to be found? I never saw it.

I'm sure I'm not the first to note this but I found it kind of fun
that the animated statues couldn't bend over enough to hit you
when you were crouched. Before I had the upgraded blackjack,
I had 4-5 of them swarming around me as I waddled into a room with
a deep fireplace. I put out the fire and crawled into the fireplace
(where
they couldn't follow me) and blew them away with fire arrows.

If you destroy every rust mite in every city section, you get a pipe
back at your apartment that provides once-a-day healing.

Of course, at this late stage of the game, it's kind of useless. :D

Only if you want to advance a small side-story, and even then you have
to make sure they won't come back.

No, and I found that crouching in general seemed to help with not
getting hit.

Playing around, I could take out all but one of them (hadn't been to
his room then) with just _two_ mines.

Drop one mine on yourself (might take a few tries when you're
surrounded), boom it goes, heal up, and do it again -- down they go.
Could probably take out all of them with just two mines doing it that
way.

Speaking of mines, anyone else thought the stores were badly stocked?
At the end of the game I could hardly buy anything! Had like 11K gold
just _before_ doing the Museum.
