Hello all--
My ISP has been useless to me on this. Recently got a new computer up and running, but I am unable to get my emails into Outlook Express 6. Even when I set the server timeout to 5 minutes, I still get the message that the server has not responded. I've checked POP3 and SMTP server names with my ISP, and they're correct. Now, when I stop it and then hit Receive a 2nd time, I get the following error message: "A TCP/IP error occurred while trying to connect to the server. Account: 'Earthlink', Server: 'pop.earthlink.net', Protocol: POP3, Port:110, Secure(SSL):No, Error Number:0x800CCC15".
It's been close to two months and I STILL can't get this thing solved. Help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Dial-up? If so, it could be a large msg waiting to be downloaded, and causing a bottleneck for the other msgs. If you have web-based e-mail, login and see if there's anything there that's really huge. If there is, delete it.
