Cyclic redundancy error and bad sectors in my external hard drive

my hard drive says " you need to format the disk in drive F: before you can use it" when i tried to reach "movies " folder in it it says " F: movies not accessible. data error(cyclic redundancy error". what should i do? any idea guys?
PS. i tried chkdsk and it shows 256 kb bad sectors. HDD regenerator scanned 17%.( in 48 hours) but it kept sloooooow findind about 1 bad sector per 3 min.( it had already found over 12000 bad sectors)so i abandoned it. recovery softwares are no use. ( undelete plus etc) easuUS application is not working also.. plz help me.. :(
