What is you exact question?
XP uses a lot of memory to run, but if you have nothing open then there should be a lot more than 108 mb available. You should check what else you have running. You could have a virus or a program could be closing improperly and cause something to continue running in the back ground.

Seriously? OMFG. You don't defragment ram.

RAM is flash memory. You don't defragment Solid state drives either. Flash memory does not access like a hard drive does. It uses transistors, not magnetic platters. There is no spinning head trying to find the data. Data is accessed at the same speed so we don't need to make sure that all of one file is in the same area to reduce read/write head movement.

We don't seem to have a reply back from the OP, so I am going to make an assumption. I am going to assume you opened the task manager and looked at "memory". Here is stated the amount of memory actively in use. This is not your total amount of installed memory.
