I am looking at

ASUS P6X58D Premium LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

but I don't really need all the extra slots and I don't care about overclocking.
Is there any ASUS MOBO that better fits for playing WoW Expansion and Sc2 on full settings?

Have a look at P6X58D-E which is cheaper and has pretty much the same specs.
Also motherboard doesn't make a noticeable difference in gaming,so as long as you have a good CPU/RAM/VGA you can run WoW and SC2 fine.

If you've not already bought the CPU and are not too much bothered with triple/double channel memory, then plan on going for a P55 (LGA 1156) system.. They'll have lesser number of slots (hopefully to your satisfaction) and are considerably cheaper.. Both platforms would perform similarly for a single video card setup..
