Memtest86+ question

hello,

i have 2 2gb hp generic ddr3 ram modules and when i put them in my system they cause it to bsod or just lock up or atleast i believe its them i have no way to test till my g skill ram arrives in the next couple day. i

i ran them through memtest86+ and they showed no errors so my question is
even though it passed could it be the cause oh these lock ups ?

If you ran Memtest correctly one stick at a time and encountered no errors it's something else.
Most likely your graphics drivers or incorrect bios settings.
Something as simple as incorrect voltages will cause bsod's.
