Hello,
I have a Dell Inspiron 530 with an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, 6 GB of RAM, and a 64-bit OS

I want to install a SAPPHIRE 100287VGAL Radeon HD 5670 (Redwood) 512MB 128-bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

The recommended power supply is 400 W and I only have 300 so I would need to upgrade my power supply as well.

Would a COOLER MASTER eXtreme Power Plus RS-460-PMSR-A3 460W Power Supply work?

As long as the Dell you have is not the slim SFF case yes that PSU will fit. Although there is nothing extreme or good about that PSU.

Corsair 400 watt PSU $34.99 after mail in rebate

This unit will actually put out more power then that coolermaster PSU and is way better quality. The Coolermaster only puts out 26Amps to 12 volt rail whereas the corsair 400 puts out 30 Amps.

A cheap PSU could potentially take out your whole system when it fails do not skimp with a low quality unit.

Just to make sure before I buy anything, that graphics card and power supply will work together and with my computer, correct? If not, could anyone suggest a better graphics card?
