Dvd burrner drive

any tips on troubl shooting my dvd burrner drive it dosent show up and when i tryed useing image burn it tells me no writing sectors, so does this meen the drive went out or any tips on knowing what is wrong...


already tryed re plugging in sata cable and restartng comp still nothing

Need some more info. Was the drive working previously, and then stopped? Have you recently made any changes to your system?

no changes just alot of use out of the drive the drive worked about 4 days ago and i havent used it since,.. today i get on and the dvd drive shows up now and works fine
