I just built a system using two Samsung F3 500GB in raid 0. Are these good numbers, they seem a little low to me? Maybe I have some setting wrong. I would post a pic but I don't know how to post a picture from my desktop here. Can someone tell me how to take a picture from my desktop and paste it here?

Minimum 111
Maximum 195.4
Average 167.2
Access Time 13.8 ms
Burst rate 122.7
CPU usage -1.0%

My system
I7-860
Gigabyte P55A UD4P
XFX 5970 Black Edition
G Skill 1600 2 x 2GB
Silverstone 750 silver certified power supply
ASUS 25.5 1900 X 1200 monitor
Cooler Master ATCS 840
Corsair H50 CPU Cooler
Windows 7 Ultimate 64

how many times did you run?

the access time seems a wee bit sluggish but if those rates are in MB/sec, they seem plenty snappy.

Perhaps a nice SSD, or two?

btw ... what sector size did you choose?

it matters.

I just ran the default HD tune pro test, its the trial version. I only ran it once. I'll try to run it a couple of times and see if i get any different results.

should vary with drive synch ... a tiny bit.

larger sector sizes (NTFS, not FAT32) will get you better streaming rates and, possibly slightly better latency (access times).
