I have a few questions since I'm new to the whole RAID thing:
1. If I delete an array, does the data get deleted, or does it get copied from the other drive? (RAID 0)/does it get deleted from one drive? (RAID 1)
2. It says Recovery as a RAID Level. What does it do?

okay so with raid 0 data is being split and written to two hard drives at the same time. the advantage is obviously speed but if you loose one drive you loose data from both drives
so yes if you delete an raid 0 array ur screwed
raid 1 using two drives mirrors one drive so it drive 1 fails you dont loose data, you have an exact copy on the drive 2. raid 0= speed raid 1= redundancy, no speed increase

Yes, I understand that part. What I'm interested in is deleting an array. Will it remove the data or keep it?
E.g RAID 1 Possibilities:
All files gone from both HDDs
One HDD is clean
Keeps both files in both HDDs

RAID 0: Possibilities:
All gone
Keeps the data in both disks (Half and half)
Copies over to the other HDD

Also, Recovery?
